The writer of this article is sadly no longer with us.  Anne Stobbs was a prominent Committee Member of the 'Defence Electronics History Society' and together with its past Chairman, Colin Latham, Anne wrote several publications about the early work of Radar. (See the links page for further information).

Anne is one of many ladies who played an important role in WWII and it is thanks to the courage and determination of such people that Wartime News is able to continue telling the story of how it was. Can you contribute to future editions?
